About Carly
Since completing my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2017, I have built my career around my passion for large animal veterinary medicine. I started in small animal practice before I joined TRH Equine Vets in 2018, where I have enjoyed working in ambulatory equine practice and providing high-quality care to horses across the Gold Coast. I have a particular interest in equine lameness and musculoskeletal conditions. To further develop my skills in this area, I completed my Diploma in Equine Therapeutic Acupuncture in 2020. I now enjoy incorporating acupuncture into treatment plans, offering our clients an additional option to support their horses' rehabilitation, comfort and performance. Outside of work, you'll usually find me riding my Warmblood mare, Chacha, or in the shed working on, or behind the wheel of my off-road race car. Whether it's horses or motorsport, I love a challenge of continually learning, improving and doing what I enjoy most.
