About Tessa
I grew up riding and eventing in the PortHills of Christchurch, New Zealand. Aftercompleting my Bachelor of Veterinary Scienceat Massey University, I spent a year as an intern at Matamata Equine Hospital in the Waikato before moving to the Gold Coast in 2023 with my partner, Gatien, to join the TRH Vets team. My clinical interests include ophthalmology, laminitis, diagnostic imaging and performance medicine, although I genuinely enjoy the variety of cases I see every day at TRH Vets. Outside of work, you'll usually find me in or around the ocean—surfing, swimming or diving—or spending time with my trustysidekick, Billie, my Border Collie
